Google adds Snake to Maps for April Fools Day gag CNET
Remember Snake? It's again -- in Google Maps shape!
Snake, the iconic Nokia game first introduced on the Nokia 6110 in 1997, has been reimagined forGoogle Maps in celebration of April Fool's Day. You can play it on iOS and Android versions of theGoogle Maps app. Just touch the sidebar option on the left side of the search bar and you'll see the "Play Snake" option.
There's no real snake this time, alternatively you play as a public shipping automobile, like a Tokyo bullet train, San Francisco cable car or a London double decker bus, and pickup passengers on an 8-bit map of their respective towns.
There are six cities to selected from: Cairo, São Paulo, London, Sydney, San Francisco, Tokyo. There's additionally a "World" option, in which you pick out up passengers from all over the map.
Snake will be playable inGoogle Maps for roughly a week, a Google spokesperson informed CNET, even though the tech massive did set up a dedicated web page for it.
