Google&039s Inbox by Gmail app will apparently shut down April 2 CNET

Inbox by using Gmail, which has a distinct format to the normal Gmail app, could be long past in two weeks.

The Inbox via Gmail app will be a part of Google+ in virtual oblivion in two weeks, it appears.

We've known that Google became discontinuing the personalized electronic mail app for a few months, but some people got a notification pronouncing it's going to close down on April 2 and a hyperlink pushing them to the principle Gmail app.

"This app may be going away in 15 days," the alert reads. "You can discover your preferred inbox features within the Gmail app. Your messages are already waiting for you."

Google often used the Inbox app to test capabilities before including them to the main Gmail app. But last yr's Gmail overhaul noticed it incorporate a lot of Inbox's features.

Google didn't without delay respond to a request for remark.
