Netflix abruptly loses support for Apple AirPlay Engadget

Netflix has supported AirPlay streaming from iOS devices to Apple TV in view that2019, and at the same time as it wasn't the world's maximum vital characteristic it is odd to pay attention that this week customers noticed it unexpectedly stopped running. As MacRumors and Apple Insider point out, a support page on Netflix's website now says "Airplay is no longer supported for use with Netflix due to technical barriers."

The Apple TV, and every other AirPlay-ready tool, will virtually consist of a Netflix app integrated, and may even work with the Cast button as a fallback. Even if it does not, AirPlay Mirroring still works too, even if it is not as handy. It might be annoying logging into Netflix with an awkward TV far off in place of simply urgent one button in your smartphone or pill, but for now that's what it's going to take.
