About an hour in the past, OnePlus 7 Pro users were given pinged with two weird notifications on their gadgets, emanating from OnePlus's personal Push carrier. One of them had a string of gibberish latin consonants and the alternative what seems to be Korean or Chinese characters. Users have been glaringly confused and notion this was spam or the servers have been hacked, but OnePlus has simply cleared matters up pronouncing it was an error originating from a test.

According to the business enterprise, this happened throughout an internal test and the notifications have been sent out globally to OnePlus 7 Pro owners. If you have been wide awake, you have been probable amazed via the mysterious message — some customers discovered it funny, others concept it become unsolicited mail, and a few had been alarmed that their phones or OnePlus' servers could have been hacked. If you were asleep, I desire you had your smartphone on DND, because I actually do not want to be awoke in the middle of the night through an "hbgchjvgchjg" message. Sentient technology is the stuff of nightmares, and my doozy country might cause panic for some seconds at the sight of that message.

During an inner test, our OxygenOS group by chance sent out a international push notification to some OnePlus 7 Pro proprietors. We would like to express regret for any problems, and guarantee you that our crew is currently investigating the mistake. We’ll proportion more data soon.

But all's well now. OnePlus says it's investigating the mistake and will proportion extra information as soon as it's recognized the reason this passed off. Hopefully the company puts an "are you sure you want to send this to hundreds of people international?" double test in its trying out device.
