On Monday the Raspberry Pi Foundation dropped a new model of its famous Raspberry Pi line. Aptly named the Raspberry Pi 4, the brand new PC board boasts several vast upgrades. Among them:
- A new 1.5 GHz quad-middle CPU that the institution says is three times faster
- 1GB, 2GB, or 4GB of LPDDR4 SDRAM
- Two USB-A, vast USB 3 ports (further to 2 USB 2 ports)
- Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi AC
- Two micro HDMI out (instead of one great HDMI) able to using two 4K displays
- USB-C for electricity input (instead of micro-USB)
The new laptop retains its $35 starting rate for the 1GB board (a 2GB board is $45, 4GB is $55), with casing to be had for a further $5. A USB-C strength deliver is available for $8, whilst the ones upgrading from an older Pi should purchase a $1 micro-USB to USB-C adapter.

Raspberry Pi FoundationIn addition to the hardware improvements, the Raspberry Pi Foundation says the brand new PC may have an "drastically modernised person interface" inclusive of an updated Chromium 74 net browser.
