Valve VR device teased and named The Valve Index Polygon
There isn’t tons to head on (that’s type of the character of a teaser website) but Valve has tossed up an official first look at its VR device and, extra importantly, named it: The Valve Index. More information is coming in May.
This is a stand-on my own product (Valve had collaborated with HTC at the Vive). Rumors of what Valve’s VR team were as much as wafted around in November, with shots of a headset in manufacturing and whispers that it'd be bundled with the Knuckles EV3 controllers and a Half-Life VR sport.
Otherwise, there’s now not lots to go on even in the manner of records. Valve said in February2019 that it became working on three sizable virtual reality games — which he characterised as longer and more in-intensity than preceding demo-like video games. But then, the following May, creator and VR evangelist Chet Faliszek left the company.
The Verge has more, together with a lit-up model of the teaser photograph that shows a little extra element at the headset.
