Once You Set Up Two Step Verification, When You Login To Your Dropbox Account, Dropbox Will Verify You By Different Methods(Read Below), You Can Choose Any One From Available.once You Verified Then You Can Access Your Dropbox Account Otherwise Not.Here're The Steps You Have To Follow To Enable Two-Steps Verification To Your Dropbox Account: -
1.)First Of All Visit Dropbox Official Website-Dropbox.com And Sign In With Your Dropbox Account.
2.)Once Signed In, You'll See Your Dashboard, Tap On Your Profile Icon And Choose Settings.
3.)Once You Click On Settings Option, A New Tab Will Open With Your Dropbox Account Settings.go To Security Tab, Scroll Down And Click On Enable Under Two Steps Verification Next To "Status".
4.)You'll See A Message With Two Steps Verification Description And Features.tap On Get Started Button To Continue.enter Your Dropbox Password And Click On Next.
As I Mention Above When You Enable Two Step Verification, Dropbox Will Verify You By Sending Codes As Text Messages, Or Using New "Mobile Prompt Authenticator" - This Will Secure Your Dropbox Account No One Can Access To Your Account Without These Codes And These Codes Will Send By Dropbox At The Time Of Login To Your Phone Number As Text Message And "Using Mobile Authenticator" To Generate Codes.
5.)After 4th Steps, You'll See Two Option/Verification Methods-Text Messages, Mobile Authenticator.
Text Messages-If You Choose Use This Method As Two Step Verification You'll Be Verify At The Time Of Dropbox Login Via Codes Which Will Be Send To Your Phone Number.
Mobile Authenticator-Sometime Your Phone Is Not Near You, So, How You Will Verify Without Codes, In This Situation You'll Enable This Feature As Two Step Verification-Under This You'll Receive Codes Via Dropbox Mobile App-Android, iOS.

1.)Choose Text Messages, Tap Next And Enter Your Phone Number On Which You Want To Receive Codes In Text Message To Verify Your Login.after Entered, A 6 Digit Code Will Be Send By Dropbox To Your Number.note That Code And Type In Box And Continue.
2.)Once You Entered The Code, You'll See Back Up Option That Is Optional-Not Compulsory.you Can Add One More Phone Number As Back Up. After It, Continue, You'll See Back Up Codes Which You Can Use When Your Phone Is Not Near You And You Fail To Get Codes, Enter These Back Up Codes At The Time Of Login By Clicking On Other Option Or Having Trouble Login(When You Go For Login).at Last, Tap On Enable Two Steps Verification.
Method 2.)-Use Mobile Authenticator As Two-Step Verification To Dropbox Account.
Tap On Click On Enable Two Step Verification And Choose "Mobile Authenticator".and Tap On Next.you'll Need One Of These Apps On Your Android, iOS To Use This Feature-
1.)Google Authenticator(Android/iPhone/Blackberry).
2.)Duo Mobile(Android/iPhone)
3.)Authenticator(Windows 7 Phone)
You'll See A QR Code When You Click Next After Selecting Mobile Authenticator, You Need To Scan It Using One Of These Apps.
On Your Mobile Open The App, I'm Using Google Authenticator In This Tutorial.open The App, Tap On Scan A Bar Code, Scan The Code From Your Computer Screen, Once Scanned, You'll See A Message "Secret Saved" And You'll See A Code.tap On Next As You See In Above Picture.
Then Enter The Code That Appear After You Scan That Code And Click Next.
Make Sure You Enter Code Without Space Key, Code Will Change After Every Few Seconds.once Done, Click Next, Enter Back Up Mobile Number(Optional), Get Back Up Codes And That's It.
